RSL 2011 Spring Meeting

Speaker/Topic: The Business of Imaging: What's affecting the business side of your practice?

Please join us Saturday June 18, 2011 at the Westin Canal Place in New Orleans for "The Business of Imaging: What's affecting the business side of your practice?"

Our ACR Speaker this year will be noted radiologist Lawrence Murhoff, MD, FACR presenting talks on Productivity Measurement and Management and Future Trends impacting your practice. Dr. Murhoff will also be presenting the current ACR initiatives. Dr. Murhoff is Clinical Professor of Radiology, University of Florida and University of South Florida Colleges of Medicine and CEO & President, Imaging Consultants, Inc.

We will also have presentations from Ryan Domegeaux, JD, Vice President of Risk Management and Internal Council for the Schumacher Group on Risk Management, concerning what is happening to the medicolegal environment in Louisiana, and Dr. Jerome Jones, Diagnostic Physicist/Radiation Safety Officer from the Ochsner Clinic Foundation on "Radiation Issues in Radiology".

Integrated into the meeting will be a resident's section facilitated by Dr. Thomas Gates, Associate Professor of Radiology and Associate Residency Program Director, LSUHSC-Shreveport. Our Spring Business meeting will include updates from the Executive Committee and your State Councilors from the ACR AMCLC meeting in May 2011, election of new officers and discussion of the RSLa and current legislative issues.
